We decided to post this recovery due to the fact that it a portion of this bad situation was preventable.
If you are going offroad, 4 wheeling, overlanding, whatever the reason please have a satellite/emergency communcation device ~ LCSO Deputy Marks
While cell phone coverage is the norm in urban areas, many of the beautiful forest and back country roads do not have coverage.
Unfortunately, the owner of this vehicle could not get help after this wreck due to the fact there was no cell phone coverage. Please consider a Garmin InReach, a Zoleo, a Spot, any type of emergency satellite device that has an SOS button.
