Common questions, recent adventures...

Most of the time you hear about semi truck wrecks where the driver made a mistake. It's not shared around alot when the semi driver HAD to wreck in order to save lives.
In this particular instance, there was a younger driver with a cell phone not paying attention. This semi driver saved his life. ~ LCSO Deputy Marks
In the early morning fog, this semi driver was focused on driving safely. Luckily for him, he spotted a car driving erratically on Hwy 99 E. The driver was about 1/2 mile from this fully loaded lumber truck and in the wrong lane. The semi driver laid on the horn, but the car did not respond.
The only option left to the driver at that time was to swerve off the road, into a row of trees, onto private property, and flip his truck. Had he not made that choice, it's likely he would have done major damage to the little car, potentially life threatening.

@dontAs a fellow dump truck driver, I agree. The curves on 126 can be misleading. Better to slow down than regret your speed.
